Sleepless in Seattle: The Java Cream Cocktail
Keep the love of Valentine’s Day going all night long with a spiked coffee cocktail and a viewing of Sleepless in Seattle. This classic romantic story inspired this coffee cocktail infused with vodka, Kahlua and whipped cream.
Hope Floats: Tipsy Orange Cream Float

Pretty Woman: Strawbery Jello-Shots
Who doesn’t love Pretty Woman? While there are so many scenes to capture your romantic side in the film, my favorite scene is when Julia Roberts feasts on strawberries; its like she’s tasting them for the first time. With these Strawberry Jello Shots, you can recreate the moment and have a little tipsy fun at the same time.
From Here to Eternity: Blue Hawaiian Jello Shots
The romance movies of romance movies, this is one of my favorite Valentine’s Day films, and this year I will be serving Blue Hawaiian Jell-O shots inspired by the movie to bring the romance into our living room one bite at a time. Simple to make and even easier to enjoy, these wedges will make you feel like you are right there on the beach with the cast.
Life As We Know It: The Georgia Peach
Add a little comedy to your Valentine’s Day with the quirky Life As We Know it while sipping on a cocktail inspired by the filming location. Sweet peaches roasted and infused with marshmallow vodka make this cocktail recipe a sweet and romantic libation, perfect for toasting and celebrating a night of pure indulgence.
50 First Dates: Picante Shandy
Light hearted and comical, 50 First Dates is a great date night movie that still holds appeal on Valentine’s Day. This light hearted romantic comedy is the inspiration behind a beer cocktail that is perfect for those looking for something with less kick than a traditional cocktail.
Like Water for Chocolate: Aztec Hot Tipsy Chocolate
One of my favorite films is Like Water for Chocolate, the love story is slow, haunting and while not a traditional love story, it makes for great viewing on Valentine’s Day because of the love affair the central character has with both her brother-in-law and the food she creates in her kitchen. This year, I will be watching it with a piping hot mug of spiked hot chocolate inspired by the movie.
A Room with a View: Italian Raspberry Cream Soda Cocktail
Valentine’s Day would not be Valentine’s Day without a trip to Italy, even if it is only a visit via the ever classic movie A Room With a View. Rich in flavor and texture, this Italian Cream Soda cocktail recipe is a sip that will ensure your Valentine’s Day celebration is as sweet as it is.
